Ingredients
- 8 slices bacon chopped
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 yellow onion chopped
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 lb cooking greens
- 4 cups Chicken broth
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1 tsp course kosher salt
- 1 tsp coarse ground black pepper

Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large saucepan, preferably a cast iron over medium heat.
- Remove 1/2 bacon fat.
- Add vegetable oil, onion, and garlic. Cook on low heat for 7 minutes, stirring often.
- Add Cooking Greens, stirring to coat in oil mixture.
- Add chicken broth, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir and cover. Reduce heat to simmer and cook for 90 minutes.
