  1. Cook bacon in a large saucepan, preferably a cast iron over medium heat.
  2. Remove 1/2 bacon fat.
  3. Add vegetable oil, onion, and garlic. Cook on low heat for 7 minutes, stirring often.
  4. Add Cooking Greens, stirring to coat in oil mixture.
  5. Add chicken broth, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir and cover. Reduce heat to simmer and cook for 90 minutes.
