As a new mom, there is so much to learn. I suggest taking advice from the experts when it comes to the health and well-being of baby. I’ve always referenced American Academy of Pediatrics as a personal resource and as a professional reference for this blog. When it comes to sleep and babies, you have to know the risks and how to keep baby safe while sleeping. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends to:
“Keep soft objects, such as pillows, pillow-like toys, comforters, quilts, sheepskins and loose bedding such as blankets and unfitted sheets, away from the infant’s sleep area to reduce the risk of SIDS, suffocation, entrapment and strangulation. Infant sleep clothing, such as a wearable blanket, is preferable to blankets and other coverings to keep the infant warm while reducing the chance of head covering or entrapment that could result from blanket use.”
A wearable blanket is recommended over blankets and lose objects that could suffocate baby. The Cleveland Clinic reports that “studies show that infant sleeping bags can reduce the risk of SIDS.”

Softest and Safe Sleep Bag for Baby
The Sleep Bags from Kyte Baby are safe, adorable, easy to use, and super soft! Their award-winning sleep bags and baby apparel are economically sourced out of bamboo, giving you a soft and hypoallergenic product for baby. If you have a baby suffering from eczema, this is an exellent source since bamboo has a buttery soft fabric.
I was able to check out Kyte Baby’s Original Bamboo Sleep Bag for my soon-to-be great nephew!
This sleep bag is perfect for new parents as it is easy to take on and off of the baby and they will have the confidence of knowing that they are putting their baby to sleep safely. With a sleep bag, baby can move their arms and legs freely while still making baby feel secure and cozy inside. Sleep bags also help regulate body temperature providing a warm and comfortable sleep – without the risk associated with blankets.
The Kyte Baby sleep bag has a zipper that runs from the bottom of the bag to the top or from the top to the bottom, giving parents the ease of putting on and taking off even in the middle of the night for diaper changes. The zipper is covered to protect baby’s face on top as well.
Another benefit of sleep bags is that it helps teach baby about sleep. If you only use the sleep bag for nighttime and naps, it’s a consistent cue for sleep. Any type of routine like this is helpful in getting baby’s sleep schedule on track.
Kyte Baby has a variety of colors and prints that will match your baby’s personality or your style. Shop all sleep bags including for toddlers that walk. In fact, you can even buy Kyte Baby products for you, to give you the softest and coziest of sleeps.
