Snuggle Up with these Books for Kids

Some of my fondest memories of my children when they were younger are centered around reading books together. Some of the favorite books I can still recite word for word. Below are some titles that may become your child’s favorite book to read over and over again this Winter! Perfect for Christmas gift-giving as well!

A Very Fiona Christmas follows Cincinnati Zoo’s baby Fiona along as she learns all about the traditions and fun of Christmas.

The front cover Christmas lights even light up – afterall Christmas lights are a fun part of Christmas! This book will be a bonus if you’ve visited Fiona at the zoo or plan to go this coming year. Add tickets to the gift for an even more exciting gift!

Pugtato Finds a Thing is a silly book that is guaranteed to provide plenty of giggles! Who would think a potato could be a lovable character in a book? Pugtato is part pet and part vegetable and ever so curious.

This book is fun for ages 4-8 to explore the meaning of friendship, compassion, and being unique. The colorful fun illustrations and rhyming text will keep your child (and even you) engaged to the end and then to be re-read over and over again!

This book was made for snuggling and hugging! I’m Going to Give You a Polar Bear Hug! is perfect for parents and grandparents to read to their child ages 4-8 as they imagine who needs a warm hug in this whimsical book.

Kids will love ‘sledding’ through the snow page after page finding new friends to hug.

My kids have always enjoyed finding books. Find Me! Adventures in the Forest: Play Along to Sharpen Your Vision and Mind is a fun book to explore over and over again this Winter with your child ages 7-9. I can’t tell you how many hours my daughter and I would spend looking through her finding books when she was little. It is a good alternative to book reading sometimes.

In this book, you’ll join Bernard the Wolf in a game of hide-in-seek (something kids love) with his friends. Find over 100 hidden animal friends and objects in their outdoor environments.

Find Me! Adventures in the Ocean is a journey in the deep blue ocean with Bernard the Wolf.  Your child ages 8-9 will enjoy this more challenging book of finding hidden objects in engaging puzzle pages!

It’s harder than you’d think but a fun challenge for kids as they develop observation skills.
