Using the Walmart App
By using the Walmart App, I can create my shopping list of items I need simply by looking them up on the app and adding them to my chart. I can have the items sent to my home (free with $50 purchase) or to my select store for FREE for same-day pickup – or they will hold them for up to 14 days for me. So, instead of writing a shopping list to take to the store (and inevitably forget every time), I simply add the items I need to my Walmart App.
So, now I can shop for everything I need from Walmart like Tide from the convenience of my home or even outside on my patio. It’s so much more relaxing than running to the store for everything!
You can search for all the varieties of a product with the app or you can use the barcode scanner with the app to be sure you get the same exact product that you are replacing. The barcode scanner is so quick that it was hard to snap a picture of the process before it went to the product’s page!
I can even read customer reviews and ratings on every item! This is great when selecting new products that I’ve never tried before. Below, 100% of the 27 reviewers recommend the Swiffer refill pads – as do I! I love how the Swiffer vac gets all the dirt and dog hair from my solid floor surfaces!
With each item, you have the choice to add to your cart for either at-home or in store pick up or you can save for later if you aren’t ready to buy the item right away. 
When you are ready to check out, it will tell you which items are available for in store vs home delivery. You can choose from there. After snapping this picture, I found that you can sort items by store, so if you want to pick items up at a particular Walmart, it will show you the items available at your location. I really like that!
There were a frew products that I needed right away so I chose to pick up in the store: Tide, Swiffer refills, and Tide Pods Spring Meadow Detergent in a smaller pack to see if my family likes the scent. I just had the Bounty Paper Towels and Charmin Ultra Soft Toilet Paper shipped to my home with a few other items so I got free shipping! They will arrive sometime next week, which is totally fine.
I like that with the Walmart App, I can save time by placing my order from home – kinda like my own shopping list – and either having them shipped to my house or ready for pick up at the Site to Store location at my local Walmart. I don’t even have to go down one single aisle for brands and products I already know and trust like Proctor and Gamble (P&G) products. My kids love that they don’t have to spend an hour at the store too as they are not shoppers!
I’m saving money by getting the best value every time at Walmart and by taking less trips to the store than before – especially when I’d forget my shopping list from home and have to make a repeat trip the next day. I can’t tell you how many times I make a list at home and forget it when I go to the store!
