I’ve often talked about how road trips are more fun when you are driving the right vehicle. Nobody wants to be cramped in the car when they are driving hundreds of miles! The same rings true with daily car rides around town! We’ve had the joy of reviewing the Ford Explorer a number of times to Myrtle Beach, Yellowstone National Park, and OBX.
During our last media fleet review of the Ford Explorer, we had the chance to drive it around town and I’m loving this car even more!
I received rental in exchange for this promotion.
My kids just went to diabetes camp, which is an amazing experience for them to be able to go away to camp on their own. The wonderful endocrinology department at Akron Children’s Hospital runs the camp with their doctors, nurses, and volunteers. They are totally safe and able to be just like everyone else because all of the kids there have Type 1 Diabetes. It was hard dropping them off at camp but packing up the Ford Explorer was easy.
The Ford Explorer Platinum has 2nd row heated bucket seats with Power-Assist Fold. The 3rd-row PowerFold® 50/50 split-folding bench seat.
The 3rd row folds down flat with the push of a button, making it super easy to utilize the extra space for hauling!
We stopped by the gardening store and grocery store for a ton of groceries, compost, and flowers after we dropped our kids off at camp. As you can see, we utilized the 3rd row but could have went further to use the 2nd row as well! Or, our kids could have been with us in the 2nd row for such a trip. We had plenty of room for additional items as well. Who knew this car has so much interior space!?
Being able to comfortably drive around town with your family, picking up items at the grocery store and home improvement store in the same trip is a must for busy families. With the Ford Explorer Platinum, you can do it all in one vehicle – comfortably and without making a second trip.
