Ultimate Birthday Party for Boys in Akron Area at Sky Zone
Sky Zone Trampoline Park is located in Boston Heights, right off of Rt. 8 making it easily accessible to all of Summit County as well as Cuyahoga and Portage Counties.
Sky Zone is so organized and even has a separate welcome and registration area for birthday parties. They provide full color birthday party invitations with their signature orange color envelopes before the party. In the invitation, they recommend registering guests online for smooth and fast check-in. Most of our kids did but it wasn’t a problem for those that didn’t. At checkin, kids will receive SkySocks to change into.
They will also take kids’ shoes, coats, and gifts at check-in and deliver those items to the party room. I love how easy they make the party for everyone! The 2 hour party includes 1/2 hour for checking in, but we were done sooner.
Fun, Fun, Fun at Sky Zone
I’ve never seen my son and his friends happier! They had a fantastic time during the full hour of jumping!! Get a full look at everything there is to do at Sky Zone in my Sky Zone Review. They have Open Jump Trampoline Courts, Foam Zone with 5 trampolines and a massive pit of 10,000 foam cubes, Sky Slam trampoline court for slam dunking baskets, and several Dodge Ball Courts!
Our boys visited each of the jumping areas but ultimately stayed in the Dodge Ball Courts!
They LOVED playing dodge ball non-stop for almost the full hour. Boys NEED dodge ball! They need an outlet to be ALL BOY, competitive, and slightly aggressive. 🙂 No worries though for girls, Sky Zone is also fantastic fun for girls!
Check out these handsome boys as they take turns going into the court. Once your hit, you have a few minutes out until the end of the game. One perk of being the birthday boy is no time-outs! Yay! My son loved it! I couldn’t believe how active the boys were for the full hour – jumping and having a blast the entire time. At no moment did we have a bored kid, it was all smiles, all the time!
Sky Zone Private Birthday Party Room
Sky Zone has 3 party rooms to choose from. We enjoyed the spacious Extreme Air Party Room on the upper level. I was very pleased to see that our host had all of the kids washing their hands before the the birthday party food. The party package includes 40 minutes in a private party room for pizza, cake, gift opening, and games.
Sky Zone Birthday Party package includes pizza (1 large per 5 kids) and unlimited drinks in the party room! You can order extra if you have an extra-hungry bunch but we had plenty at this ratio. We had 2 hosts that took care of everything! They set the table with all the party plates, napkins, cups & utensils that were included in the birthday party package. They have nearly a dozen color schemes to choose from – or you can bring your own if you want characters on them.
Literally, I didn’t have to lift a finger. The hosts served our boys food and drinks, then led them over to the birthday cake where they lit the candles and served the cake.
I loved it! I was actually able to sing with everyone, take pictures, and enjoy the birthday cake time – and the entire party for that matter! Plus, no clean up – Sky Zone did everything!
It is your choice whether you want to have your child open gifts at the party. We always do because kids love to see all the gifts, especially when the birthday boy opens their gift!
Our Sky Zone hosts even helped with distributing the gifts and writing down the name of the gift-giver and the gift! Yay! That made for very easy thank-you cards. You might also notice a few parents hanging around in the below picture. One thing that impressed me by Sky Zone was how spacious the party rooms are! Parents can hang out with no problem.
Don’t you just love seeing kids all huddled together checking out the cool gifts? It’s such a fun time. Oh, and you may have noticed the flat screen TV. There are TVs throughout Sky Zone, but mostly in the waiting area and party rooms. You can still catch the game while taking your kiddos to the trampoline park!
Our birthday party packaged included a Sky Zone T-Shirt for all the kids to sign. My son loves wearing his t-shirt and the kids enjoyed signing their names. Each Sky Zone birthday party also includes two 60 min passes for guest of honor! I found that a very generous gift for the birthday boy!
Here is a picture of me and my big 10 year old son, Elijah. He was as happy as could be at his birthday party. He said it was the best birthday party he has ever had! I must agree that I saw more smiles and happy kids at Sky Zone than I can ever remember. And, I enjoyed it more too because I didn’t have to organize or do anything!
