So, I was curious what Insect Shield Technology is all about, how does it actually work? Bug Smarties clothing are treated with permetherin, which is used primarily in lice shampoo and flea shampoo for dogs.
To get the best coverage, you would need to wear larger items to cover more exposed skin, smaller items cover a smaller area, therefore leaving you more exposed. Exposed areas of skin would still need a small amount of repellent to be completely covered.
