Have you seen the Ford Swap your Ride Commercials? In short, a person gets to test out a new Ford vehicle and compare it to their competitor make car. Well, I was given a similar opportunity through Ford Media Fleet to check out their 2011 Lincoln MKT for the week! What an exciting and fun opportunity! It was love at first site when this beauty pulled into my drive way! We all ran out to check it out, even my kids were super excited.
Overview of Lincoln MKT Features
The Lincoln MKT is luxurious and packed with so many features for convenience, comfort, and safety. The spacious interior makes trips comfortable for families with 3 total rows of seating. The front row seating has totally adjustable seating with adjustable steering wheels and foot pedals. The lumbar support is totally adjustable as well. The Navigation System with SiriusXM Traffic and SiriusXM Travel is amazing with surround sound speakers throughout the car. Plus, with skyrocketing gas prices, it’s nice to know that the MKT goes farther on a gallon of fuel than any vehicle in its class.

Lincoln MKT Added Safety Features
As a mom, safety is always on my mind. In fact, I’m keeping my kids in booster seats and carseats for as long as possible for added safety. There are 2 huge safety features that scored big for me.
- SOS Post-Crash Alert System: If your airbags are deployed or seat belt pretensioner is activated, the horn will sound and emergency flashers are illuminated, to assist first responders in locating the vehicle.
- Safety Canopy System: There are 6 strategically placed airbags that deploy from the headliner on both sides of the vehicle. There is a rollover sensor that releases the side curtain and side airbag deployment for rollovers or side-impact collisions.
Even in the event of an emergency, the Lincoln MKT is looking out for your family.
