We have 2 vehicles, a sport sedan and a compact SUV. My kids are ages 4 and 6, exactly the “He’s touching me” and “She has my toy” age. We are actually looking to get a larger vehicle that will put some space between my kids. The Lincoln MKT is like a dream come true. Of course right now, my kids are angels in the Lincoln MKT because it is new and exciting. You can adjust the rear air temperature and heated seats in the second row too.

What I like about the Lincoln MKT seating is the # of seating options. There are 2 bucket seats in the second row center console with cup holders, AC power plug, and even refrigerator. For me, I see the center console has a much needed separator between my kids.

There is a third row as well. I wasn’t sure how spacious the 3rd row could possibly be but was pleasantly surprised at the leg room. Of course my kids thought the third row was amazing and had to sit there first!

You can appreciate how large the interior of the car is when you see the distance between the third row where my son took the picture of me in the driver’s seat.

The third row is great but how do you get there? That was my question. With the simple press of one button, the second row seats individually fold up. They can be folded back down for passengers to sit on or remain stowed. When my kids sit in the back, we keep them folded for easy in and out. The second row can also lay flat too.

The third row configures with the push of a button to stow, tailgate, and then back to normal. It is a cinch to switch your seating to any position.

If you are transporting large or long items, you could even stow both the second and third rows for lots of space. Or any combination.

We were not able to schedule a trip to the drive in movie theatre this week, however I would have loved to use the tailgate option for it!

Stay tuned for more exciting features the Lincoln MKT has to offer with my Lincoln MKT Week in Review.
This was not a paid post. My own opinions were used based on my perceptions and experience. Thank you to Ford Media Fleet who provided the car for review.
