I like adding interesting decor elements to our home. We like what we like, but don’t have an exact style. I suppose you could say our home is a bit eclectic as our interests are varied. For instance, we don’t decorate with a nautical theme but we are fascinated by the octopus.
The Akron Zoo has an amazing Giant Pacific Octopus named Cora. I could visit with this stunning creature for hours.

Add a Little Nautical Adventure to Your Home Decor with this Octopus Framed Print
I just came across this beautiful framed octopus print and couldn’t resist it. I knew there would be a perfect place for this eight-legged sea creature in our other-wise not nautical themed home. For now, he rests on the shelf in our guest bathroom. The colors on that room coordinate with the sandy colors of the print.
Decorating your home should be fun and spontaneous. Add what you like where you want it. You don’t have to have navy blue and light blue stripes throughout your house to add a bit of nautical to it. Being in a landlocked state, I’d personally find it odd to have a fully nautical home anyway – unless the home was on Lake Erie or lakeside. To each their own though!
For me, I like to add a little bit adventure around each corner of our home. I like the element of surprise and interest pieces like this adds to an otherwise ordinary room like the bathroom!
I found this octopus print called Deep Sea in Thought Framed Print for $24.95 on ModCloth.com. They offer a really fun selection of home decor items for every style, as well as beautiful clothing. I’ve found many interesting, unique items on ModCloth.com that are perfect for gift-giving for men too, which can be quite difficult! You can connect with ModCloth on Facebook too.
