Water Safe Shoes that Keep Up with Kid Adventures!

pediped toddler shoe review

Active kids are tough on shoes!  With summer travel and water activities, I’m always looking for shoes that do double duty acting as a water shoe and sneaker all in one. When my kids were young, we always chose Pediped shoes because they are made kid-tough but also they are approved by the American Podiatric Medical Association for healthy foot development, something very important to me. Read all our Pediped reviews. I introduced Pediped to my sister and now her kids wear them!

Pediped Water Safe Shoes Keep Up with Kid Adventures!

My nephews are busy kids with active lives! They are always running, climbing, and finding water to splash in! Their water safe Pediped shoes are their summer go-to shoe because they keep up with any activity that they get into!

Pictured above and below, my older nephew is wearing Flex® Stingray Sky. He likes how easy they are to put on and how comfortable they are. He even claims they help him run faster and climb higher (with the flexible rubber sole!). They are secure, unlike some sandals on the market, even when he hangs upside down because let’s face it, this is a regular activity for adventurous kids!

My toddler nephew on the right is wearing Flex® Sahara Blue/Orange. Both styles are available in sizes 7.5-8  US 5 through size US 1.5-2Y.

Both shoe styles are easy to put on and take off with Velcro closure. They are cool and comfortable even in the hot summer with a breathable neoprene lining. The good news is that they give them traction when and where they need it.

They also have closed toes that protect their feet from injury. Speaking of closed toes, these are one of the few types of sandals kids can wear in elementary school – so now is the perfect time to shop for back-to-school!

What I love about these shoes is that they are also water safe which means kids can be kids. Adventurous kids that like to splash in puddles and walk in streams can do so safely! Plus, mom can pop them in the washer to clean! They hold up very well with multiple washes too. In fact, when my kids outgrew their shoes, we always handed them down to family and friends!

Skip the beach and water shoes that offer little protection, Pediped water safe shoes are better in the sand!  The quick-dry EVA footbed won’t leave your kid squishing in wet sandals all day either! The footbeds express water quickly making the shoes dry quick so they can get on with their adventures!

Purchase the Flex® Sahara Blue/Orange or the Flex® Stingray Sky for your kids today! They are available in both boy and girl colors!

It is never too early to start giving your children the best in foowear. Pediped has a new Swaddle Collection of layette footwear.  These crib shoes are super soft for newborns. You can even cuddle baby while baby is wearing the shoes, they are that cozy.

I like that they are made with a high-quality suede sole not something cheap. Pediped knows that healthy foot development begins with baby.
