Nothing recharges your batteries like a weekend getaway, even if it is close to home. Retreat to a new Sleep Inn Designed to Dream hotel locations for a boutique experience at an affordable pricetag. We are fortunate enough to have a Designed to Dream location nearby at the gateway to Amish Country in Bolivar, Ohio.
My family received a weekend getaway to Sleep Inn to report our findings in this post.
Retreat to Sleep Inn Designed to Dream Hotels
There are Sleep Inn Designed to Dream locations throughout the country for all your travel adventures. Recommended by Budget Travel, Designed to Dream locations are affordable, yet stylish, offering you a boutique hotel experience without the pricey bill attached.
We were so impressed by the overall modern decor with warm colors, locally themed decor, comfortable soft lighting, spacious rooms, and ultra comfortable beds with plush bedding.
One thing that I really like about Sleep Inn is that you get many ‘extras’ for not additional charge like free internet, free parking, fitness centers, swimming pools, and a free breakfast.
The two must-haves in my family for any hotel is a pool and free breakfast, Sleep Inn in Bolivar, Ohio has both.
I like the convenience and cost-savings that a morning of hot breakfast provides. It’s a full breakfast of usually eggs with a meat option like bacon or sausage, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurts, pastries, breads, cereal, juice, and coffee.
My kids love swimming in the indoor swimming pool, they would be happy not going anywhere and just swimming!
We spent the weekend in one of their double bed guest rooms. There was plenty of space to stretch out and relax while watching TV, reading, or catching up on emails at the desk. The room was a welcome retreat after a full day exploring Amish Country.
The entire room was modern from the color schemes to the ergonomic chairs to the high-def flat-screen televisions and sleek furnishings. I also enjoyed the locally inspired artwork on the walls.
After a full day anywhere while traveling, it is nice to retreat to a comfortable, clean guest room. Sometimes I have a difficult time falling asleep while traveling, but not at Sleep Inn.
The bed was super comfortable and the bedding was ultra plush, while still offering modern designs. They even have firm and soft pillows on every bed to accommodate every preference – I just love the pillows!
I just had to sneak a peek at one of the king size rooms while we were visiting. They were happy to show off one of the few empty rooms left that weekend. I could easily see my husband and I retreating for a weekend away, just the two of us at this Designed to Dream location.
It is a lovely room, perfect for a romantic getaway. Watch this video for a short tour of the room and what I like most about this Designed to Dream location.
Like I said, we had a very relaxing time during our stay at Sleep Inn. We spent our days touring all over Amish Country, which I’ll share in upcoming posts. When we came back to our room, it felt comfortable and like home. I wasn’t worried about how clean the room was or how safe it was like I often do at other locations.
The new Designed to Dream theme really carries well throughout the hotel, even with their “Dream Tips” and privacy signs that offer advice like “Rest fashionably – wear your socks to bed. They help regulate body temperature for a more satisfying night’s rest.”
Our schedule was full for the weekend but not to where we had to get up early, we actually all did ‘sleep inn’ both mornings which is a rarity since my kids are usually up before sunrise at home!
