Celebrating Earth Day with Green Toys

Happy Earth Day! Earth Day is a yearly event, celebrated on April 22. Events are held all over the world to celebrate our Earth and demonstrate support of protecting our Earth.

One of the ways we can support Earth Day throughout the year is by making  environmentally friendly purchases, even for our children.  Green Toys Inc. is leading the industry in Eco-friendly, truly green toys.Seaplane Safe Seas setI received product to facilitate this post.

Truly Green Toys

Green Toys are the only toys on the market made from 100% recycled post-consumer recycled materials and the packaging is 100%  recyclable cardboard. Which means no annoying twist ties or rubber ending up in a landfill.

The toys themselves are made from recycled milk jugs. In addition to making a green product they also do their best to reduce their carbon footprint.

They are all made in the USA. So they drastically cut down transportation cost and green house gasses.

Safe Toys

My favorite thing about Green Toys is that they are tested and contain no traceable amounts of Phthalates or BPA. These toys also have no external coatings, so when Kiernan decides to put these his green toys in his mouth, I don’t have to worry.

Kiernan loves his new Seaplane!  He has played with it in and out of the bath tub and he loves “flying” it in the sky.  The Seaplane Set comes with the Seaplane and a copy of Joel Harper’s children’s book” All the Way to the Ocean.”

Kiernan loves playing with his Green Toys!

Taking Care of Our Earth

“All the Way to the Ocean” is all about how even children can have a healthy impact on the world around them.

Kiernan is very aware that the sea creatures are sad, but he loves to read it over and over again.  I love explaining to him that we can protect our world right now. He and Kelton now want to pick up trash and put it in trash cans were ever we go.

It makes me one proud mom!All the way to the OceanRemember you can support Earth Day every day by being more conscious and you can use the Seaplane Safe Seas set to teach your children about how  they can help!
