As with any K’NEX building set, the box comes with everything you need, including simple-to-follow directions. That is a major selling point for me. Is it just me or are some building sets almost impossible to follow? I like that K’NEX makes it easy with step-by-step directions. This kit is relatively simple anyway, but still it is nice to have good instructions.
The micro kits include 2 cars to build with 28 pieces plus stickers. For ages 5 and up, this product is a fun afternoon activity for kids to complete in one setting. My daughter and I put the #88 and #24 together this afternoon. I elected to add the stickers to make replicate the race cars but she did the rest, with some help. She couldn’t believe we were going to build a car out of blocks!
Of course, the fun begins after the cars are built! The cars seem quite sturdy so your kids can actually play with the cars once they are assembled. It is not fun if the toy can’t actually be played with once assembled.
We also built the K’NEX Garage Building Set this afternoon. The K’NEX NASCAR cars are lots of fun running in and out of the garage building too!
