The new VTech InnoTab 3S has been recognized as one of the “Best Tech Toys on the Shelves” by Toy Insider’s team that tested hundreds of new toys on the market. It is also a Top 12 Tech Toy. VTech is known as a leader in innovative educational toys. The InnoTab 3S is the second generation of their Wi-Fi enabled tablet. We reviewed the InnoTab 2S last year and my kids still play with it.
Kids Tablet that can Text
The InnoTab 3S is a breakthrough product connects our tech-savvy kids with their parents through a family communication app that allows kids and parents to send text messages, voice messages, stickers, photos, and drawings to a parents’ smartphone. Parents can send messages back to their kid’s Innotab 3S. This is an exciting breakthrough made kid-safe in a kid-friendly tablet. You can even set up the Innotab 3S to connect to their friends and siblings with tablet-to-tablet communication.
Wi-Fi Learning Tablet with Apps
The Innotab 3S comes with 20 apps to start their learning journey. The VTech Learning Lodge app store has an additional 600 apps available for purchase as well as cartridges with games and learning software. If you have an Innotab 2S, your games and cartridges will still work if you upgrade to the 3S.
Kids Video Recorder and Camera
My daughter loves the 1800 rotating camera and video recorder. She makes videos all the time. My kids watch Mincecraft tutorial videos all the time and now they are creating their own with the InnoTab 3S. Below is an example of a video made with the InnoTab 3S.
The Wonder Cam is a fantastic fun way to keep kids entertained for hours! Kids can take pictures of themselves or their friends and add funny frames, faces, and fun effects to them. Below are a few that I found on my daughter’s InnoTab 3S.

Another upgrade from the 2S is the included rechargeable battery pack with AC adapter. It makes it easy and cheap to keep the Innotab with charged batteries at all times.
Speaking of the InnoTab 2s, this Summer, we took it with us on our trip to Massachusetts. It fell out of the car at the gas station screen side down! Guess what! It still worked just fine. VTech makes products that are kid-tough!
