When you go sledding with your kids, one size does not fit all. For the best performance and safety, get sleds geared toward your kids’ age. I have both a 4 year old girl and 6 year old boy, that love sledding down hills, even huge hills. If you get a sled too large, they cannot hold on, likewise if you get a baby sled, it’s not going to hold their weight. The fine folks at Aqua Leisure provides products for year-round fun, we enjoyed a few summer products earlier this summer. Now, it’s time to head outside for some winter fun!

Uncle Bob Jr Yeti Racer Snow Tube Hands On Review

We were able to review Uncle Bob Jr Yeti Racer Snow Tube. This 37″ snow tube is designed for kids ages 4 and up, up to 120 lbs. The fun design on the snow tube encourages some wild or at least fun sledding! Below, Elijah is sledding down a hill with a fun expression on his face. Maybe he should hold on to the 2 heavy duty handles! The size of the sled and the handles make it easy for kids to haul the sled back up the hill too.

This is a well-made sled that seems like it is going to last quite a while. It is made of extra heavy-duty vinyl with a special cold-crack additive to help it withstand extreme cold. Uncle Bob Jr sleds are nothing like the old sleds of the past. We use the below sled as a decoration now as it’s not as safe or easy to use as today’s sleds. I can’t imagine being a kid just waiting for at least a foot of snow to be able to sled right – although we’ve had more than 2 feet here in NE Ohio so far this winter!

With Uncle Bob Jr sleds, your kids can have fun with a lot or just a little snow fall. Now my kids are fighting over who gets the new sled, although we do have another very fun Aqua Leisure sled from last year to ride on.

We spend a lot of time outdoors throughout the entire year. It’s great to have good sleds like Uncle Bob’s but my son can have fun with simple things such as ice cycles as well! lol It’s not recommended at all to sled right with ice cycles but it is totally ok to pose a very cool photo of you with ice cycles on your new sled!
