Hands on K’Nex 350 piece Tub Review

K’Nex has a great assortment of kits to purchase, we recently were able to review the K’Nex 350 piece Tub. This delighted not only my son but my husband. They have spent hours building new building structures, robots, cameras, dragons, cars, bikes, Ferris wheels, dinosaurs, airplanes, and even more. The K’Nex 350 piece Tub comes with 350 parts and pieces and great instructions on 20 models to get you started.

The tub is large enough to hold the 350 pieces plus any structures that are in-progress or completed. What we like about the tub is that the pieces are kept in one place so they are not lost throughout the house. Elijah can even take the tub with him to a friend’s house or for an overnight visit to grandma’s house.

This product is for kids ages 7 and up. Elijah is 5, with supervision by either myself or his dad he is able to have a great time building with K’Nex. With little assistance from us, he is able to snap and click the pieces together. K’Nex is a great, fun way for kids to develop their fine motor skills and build their imaginations.

picture of Knex Helping Kid 350pc TubElijah and his daddy have built many of the 2o models included in the K’Nex 350 piece tub. They usually create 2 pieces or more in one setting. It is a great bonding time for the guys to hang out.  Elijah is so proud of the creations that he and his daddy build. K’Nex teaches perseverance and satisfaction in accomplishments as well.

With 350 pieces to work with, you can build and build and still have pieces left over. The above picture shows 3 models built, a bicycle, camera, and dinosaur. See how many pieces are left to continue building?! This is great when your kid wants to keep one built for a while and not dismantle it. Elijah has been carrying his K’Nex camera around for a while now to take pretend pictures even though he has his own real Spiderman camera!

K’Nex has a great website to explore. Not only do they have the full collection of K’Nex products available at their online store, but they have great parent resources. You can join the K’Nex Parents Club to receive New Product information, Special Offers, Discounts, New Parent/Child Activities, Events, and more! Don’t worry, they only email once a month. There is a whole section for educators including lesson plans, and ideas for events and activities. The K’Nex club has great photos are K’Nex creations that people just like you have created.
