The adventurous Dora the Explorer and her friends come along with Elizabeth and I most places that we go from preschool to the store to bath time. Elizabeth enjoys her imaginary friends that just so happens to be cartoon characters. So, you can imagine how excited she was to receive the new Mega Bloks Dora the Explorer Garden Gazebo!

We have several sets of Mega Bloks in our home. This is our first character set and let me tell you, it is adorable! This set is for kids ages 3 and up. Elizabeth is 4. I let Mega Bloks because my kids, even at a young age can build with them. I was curious to see how my 4 year old could put together an actual building blocks set. Right out of the box, Elizabeth started assembling the garden gazebo.

Just look how happy and proud she is that she can build this set all by herself. That is one reason why I like building blocks so well, kids get to build and accomplish something right before their eyes. I love seeing how proud my kids are of their abilities.

The Building Mega Bloks Dora the Explorer Garden Gazebo comes with 19 pieces including a table with umbrella, tree, blue bird, gazebo, large pot, sunflower, watering can, and all the bloks to assemble it. The only thing that my daughter needed help with was the Build & Dress Dora the Explorer. Dora can be taken apart to change her short blue skirt with pink pockets to a bright pink wrap skirt. After she saw how to do it the first time, she was all set!

Mega Bloks Dora the Explorer Garden Gazebo is just one piece to the Dora the Explorer buildable playsets.  Next on Elizabeth’s wish-list is the Dora Playtime Adventure, which is a Dora dollhouse made of Mega Bloks.
