The long awaiting American Girl store in Columbus, Ohio is over. They have opened their doors to people traveling from across Ohio and beyond to have the American Girl experience. You can browse and purchase American Girl dolls including the American Girl dolls, Bitty Baby dolls, Girl of the Year, and the historical favorites. You can browse and purchase American Girl dolls including the American Girl dolls, Bitty Baby dolls, Girl of the Year, and the historical favorites.
The Girl of the Year is a special character doll that is growing up in today’s world, facing the same challenges as our girls do. Read the book and buy the doll, she is only available for one year.
The American Girl Dolls are totally customized to what your daughter wants her to look like. She may choose a doll that looks like herself, her best friend, or whatever she wishes. She can even dress like her doll, buying matching outfits. I saw several girls with their dolls in matching outfits during our visit. If you have an American Girl Doll, be sure to bring her to the store with you!
The Bitty Baby dolls are for younger girls. This is a doll that younger girls gravatate toward as they enjoy “taking care of” babies. It is also a great “starter” doll since they do not have hair. There are a lot of fun accessories for all the dolls, but especially the Bitty Baby dolls. American Girl encourages imagination in all ways, this includes leaving dolls and toys out for kids to interact and play with in the store. Talk about high quality! The strollers felt like a real baby stroller, sturdy and strong.
There is even an American Girl Doll Hair Salon where you can pamper your doll with hair and spa services. Girls will also like the new hair accessories for their dolls. They can add a braided headband, colored hair, and more.
American Girl Bistro
The American Girl Bistro is any girl’s dream, filled with beautiful decor in modern pink and sparkles. Sit down for an appetizer, entree, dessert, or Afternoon Tea. My daughter enjoyed a decadent pink frosted cupcake – she said the icing taste like ice cream!
If you want to celebrate a birthday or special occasion, you can even reserve a party room. Your daughter will receive special attention with her doll. Packages include fun for girls and their dolls with doll tiaras, goody bags, games, crafts, cake, and ice cream.
American Girl is all about imaginations. There is a bookstore where your girl can read about brave, strong girl characters. You’ll find books throughout the store merchandised with themed dolls and more.
