My girls were under the weather with a stomach bug last week, so it was the perfect time to break out the Wummelbox, an arts and crafts kit for children 3- to 8-years-old.
The Germany-based company recently provided our family with a Wummelbox to review for this post. My children could not wait to see the fun that awaited them inside the Wummelbox. They were thrilled when I opened it for them!
Each Wummelbox contains environmentally friendly materials and high quality instructions needed to complete three or four different crafts that all revolve around a central, “surprise” theme. According to the company, the theme always is suitable for girls or boys. The theme of our craft kit was gardening.
I was impressed with the detail provided in the instruction booklet that came with our Wummelbox. The instructions explain the level of difficulty for each project and how to complete it properly. The instructions also suggest other parent and child activities that go along with each craft project and the Wummelbox theme.
My girls found the Wummelbox to be very exciting. They enjoyed planting seeds in a jar and making a flower press, among other crafts.
Our box even came with child safety scissors, markers and stickers. This allowed my children to really personalize their projects, making them as unique as they are! I specifically appreciated the quality mother/daughter time the Wummelbox provided us on an otherwise uneventful afternoon.
You can have a Wummelbox delivered monthly to your home, too.

This was not a paid post. My own opinions were used based on my perceptions and experience. Thank you to Wummelbox who provided the product.
