There is so much to do and see at Myrtle Beach beyond the actual beach. Make plans to take a riverboat cruise on the Intracoastal Waterway for a relaxing afternoon on the water.
I received tickets to facilitate this post. Opinions are my own.
Barefoot Princess Riverboat offers sightseeing, sunset, and dinner cruises that the whole family will enjoy. We took an afternoon sightseeing cruise during our recent Myrtle Beach vacation and had a great time.
There are plenty of places to sit and take in the beautiful of the Intracoastal Waterway on three levels.
We hung out on the top level for a while to fully experience the soft river breezes and scenery.
When it got a little too hot, we headed to the second floor in the A/C for a snack at the snack bar and live music and a little dancing.
Our kids even had the chance to sit with the captain of the riverboat and take their turn at the wheel! They loved it!
Later, we relaxed on the bottom level. Throughout the cruise, we were alerted of all the sights around us, including Johnny Depp’s home!
Also along the way, we spied an osprey nest with mama bird and her babies. Bald eagles and alligators are also common sights to see. On our way out, we did see an alligator egg, so beware near the water!
Barefoot Riverboat is located in North Myrtle Beach at Barefoot Landing Marina. Book your cruise online or by calling 843-272-6796.
