The best way to get around Put-in-Bay is on a golf cart. I don’t know why it is so much fun to drive around an island on a golf cart but it is tremendous fun. Scooting around in a golf cart signifies “island life” – not ordinary mainland life! Instead we had “the goat” which provided many jokes throughout the day from the old Andy Griffith episode of The Loaded Goat! We did have the cart loaded with 7 people and plenty of room for an 8th! There were even a few compartments in the front to store away items and drink holders too. Our E’s golf cart became our home away from home for the day we spent on the island.
