When people travel to Vegas, they often find themselves going over the top with extravagant purchases. Why not? Vegas is all about extravagance! Let’s check out 2014 in Vegas.
Personally, I find meals to be one of the most expensive parts of a vacation. How do you think the people who bought the most expensive dish available in Vegas felt when they handed over $5,000 for a 26 Fleurburgers sandwich at Fleur in Mandalay Bay?! Full!?!?!
If you get a massage or facial while in Vegas, you are not alone! It’s the ultimate place to pamper yourself. 52,640 treatments were given at the Spa Bellagio alone! We go through a lot of toilet tissue in my house but nothing compared to the 267,436 toilet paper rolls used by the Blue Man Group at Monte Carlo! I haven’t seen the show, nor have any idea what they could possibly do with that much toilet tissue?! Get the blue off? LOL I’ve actually heard that The Blue Man Group is good for families. We hope to travel out West this Summer and attend the show!
If you like reading fun stats, check out the Vegas by the Numbers website to read about more extravagance in Vegas like the 8,464 ice cream flavor combinations offered at BLVD Creamery or the 729,753 pizza slices served at FIVE50 Pizza Bar at ARIA, or the 1 Million Hershey’s Kisses given out at the opening of Hershey’s Chocolate World at New York-New York!
I haven’t been to Vegas since before our kids were born. It looks like there is plenty for families to do in Las Vegas as well. I’m going to do a little more research on Vegas for family travel! Have you taken your family to Vegas?
