Get a taste of the Wild West at Bonnie Springs Ranch’s Old Nevada Town. This replica of a western ghost town is tons of family fun!
We loved the live entertainment of gunfights, melodramas, hangings, and more! My son was even in a gunfight duel with the town’s sheriff. It felt so real as the sheriff shot blanks at my husband!
I love that they involved us in their fun, giving us personal attention.
The dressed-up characters put on quite a show too!
Bonnie Springs is just another 10 minutes beyond Red Rock Canyon and a great place to stop for more Wild West fun including a zoo, trail rides, motel, and for a tasty meal.
Bonnie Springs transports you to what it was like to live in the West.
Our visit was short as we had already spent time at Red Rock Canyon, however you really could spend an entire day visiting Bonnie Springs as they have plenty to do and see all day. You can even spend the night.
They have a replica mine that you can walk though. We enjoyed walking on the slanted floors which were typical for real mines as the floors weren’t level.
Bonnie Springs offers a little history and a lot of fun discovering what the real West was like years ago. If you are planning a family vacation to Las Vegas, be sure to drive off the strip for a day to spend time at Bonnie Springs.

This is part of our Kidifornia Family Adventure Series. Follow us live June 17-28th on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and this Blog! We decided to add Nevada to our Kidifornia (California) feature because it offers so much family fun and because of the new direct flights from Akron Canton Airport to Las Vegas on Spirit Airlines!
