Family Fun at Madame Tussauds in San Francisco, CA

Madame Tussauds San Francisco

Madame Tussauds San Francisco is a must-see attraction in San Francisco’s historic Fisherman’s Wharf. My family enjoyed it more than I could have ever imagined and I know your family will too. Visit with historical leaders, A-list stars, music legends, and more. It is the best place for selfies, the figures are so realistic that you’ll feel like they will move at any second.

During our travels, we like to take in the nature and history of the locations we visit. We throw in a few ‘tourist attractions’ just for fun.

Madame Tussauds is way more than a tourist attraction, it’s an experience that we will not soon forget. We were able to hang out with people who made San Francisco what it is today at Golden Gate Park. Our favorite was Jackie Chan but we also sat with Jerry Garcia, Janis Joplin, Castro with Harvey Milk, and Francis Ford Coppola.

It is so weird but it actually feels like we met the people at Madame Tussauds. We are big Jackie Chan fans, so we were thrilled to snap a few shots with him.

Madame Tussauds for FamiliesNot only are the figures amazingly realistic but the sets and rooms were equally as impressive. Each section transported us to the locations that the famous people would be. For instance, it felt like a movie premier when we walked into the room of the A-list super stars – I should know since I’ve been to Hollywood for a premier. 🙂 Meet Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Aniston, Betty White, Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, and more.

Even Barack Obama, George Washington, and Abraham Lincoln were there. I can now say I sat at the president’s desk, well, sort of. Madame Tussauds brings history to life with influential historical leaders.

My kids were ecstatic to see Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks since they did extensive studies on them both this year.

Madame Tussauds San FranciscoWe sent my daughter’s teacher a picture of her with Rosa Parks since I daughter chose her for her biography project last year. She loved it!

Madame Tussauds San FranciscoIt was just an amazing experience to see the incredible wax likenesses of so many of the world’s most famous stars and historic figures. I highly recommend this attraction during your visit to San Francisco.
