The Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium in Myrtle Beach is a must-see for the whole family! There are fascinating and strange discoveries around every corner.

Plan to spend at least 1-2 hours at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium here as you explore the unexplainable! One of our favorites was the 8 foot tall Transformer that was made entirely out of scrap car parts – talk about up-cycling! In this area, there were a lot of interactive elements where kids were able to dance and play games on the floor, manipulate a storm with the touch of a button, and appear on a TV in multi colors in Play with Movement where you become the experience! 
Toward the middle of the Odditorium, we walked through the spinning vortex tunnel that totally messing with your mind and equilibrium. It was a favorite!
There were over 200 exhibits and artifacts – like shrunken heads, Egyptian mummified head, and a tiger sculpture made out of driftwood found in South Carolina. Check out the Mosasaur skull! It looks like nothing alive today – it’s from the Cretaceous Era and was related to today’s snakes.
It was fun checking out Robert Ripley’s bizarre collection! Many things were just so odd that you couldn’t believe it, like the 6 legged pig! We even got to stand next to a statue of the world’s tallest man!
I really liked the Biblical Art piece where the picture of Jesus Christ was made up entirely out of the words from the gospel of St. John. 
The variety of things to see and experience is endless and fun for the entire family!
