On our recent West Coast vacation, we wanted to take in the best of the West which includes Las Vegas, NV. There are many hotels in Las Vegas but if you are looking for where to stay in Las Vegas for families, Bluegreen Vacations Club 36, a Choice Hotels partner is my suggestion.

Bluegreen Vacations Club 36 Las Vegas Choice Hotel Review
Bluegreen Vacations Club 36 is a luxurious boutique hotel that is perfect for families. The accommodations are spacious and it is close to all the Las Vegas excitement, without the crowds and feeling claustrophobic in the middle of it all.

I like my space, especially when traveling as a family for an extended vacation. At Bluegreen Vacations Club 36, we had more than enough space to relax and chill – my kids didn’t want to leave the hotel!
We had two suites that joined together, so we had two of everything: bedrooms, full baths, living rooms, kitchens, dining rooms, and even laundry rooms! It was like home away from home, but even better.
Check out this view! From our room, we could see all the Las Vegas strip, it was especially beautiful at night when everything was lit up.
In fact, Bluegreen Vacations Club 36 is just blocks away from all Las Vegas has to offer: entertainment, shopping, restaurants, galleries, exhibits, museums, casinos, and more. They even offer free shuttle service to several key locations.
We felt so spoiled by the luxurious accommodations and amenities at Bluegreen Vacations Club 36. Our visit to Las Vegas was at the tail end of our whirlwind West Coast vacation, 10 days driving in a car from San Francisco to Disneyland to the dude ranch in Arizona and to Las Vegas is a LOT. We all thoroughly enjoyed the space at this boutique hotel in Vegas. There were 4 flat-screen TVs, so we could essentially all chillax in our own rooms!
The main living room offered a gorgeous view of Las Vegas with a large window. The view inside to the dining room and kitchen was just as stunning. I loved the modern decor and did I mention how spacious it was? 🙂
We were only there for a couple days so I wasn’t able to utilize the full kitchen, but would certainly appreciate it if we were there for a week! We enjoyed eating in the dining room during meals and snacks – sure beats sitting on a bed in a hotel or going out to eat for every single meal!
The master bedroom was amazing, with stunning views of the Las Vegas strip.
It opened up to the master bathroom. The master bathroom was separated into 2 sections. Nearest to the bedroom was an enormous walk-in shower with 2 shower heads surrounded by glass walls on 2 sides.
Although we were mindful of the water shortage our West, we all took turns enjoying the pure luxury of it. This area had a large counter with two sinks and plenty of storage of soft towels. And I took notes for our next home remodel project – our master bathroom!
The second section, closed off by a door was the toilet area with another set of sinks, and large closet. This area could be accessed by another door that leads out to the hallway and laundry facilities.
I have never been so happy to see a washer and dryer than when we found them at Bluegreen Vacations Club 36! After 10 days of 120 degree temps, we had some pretty stinky clothes! Plus, we were running out of clean clothes. My husband and I washed all of our clothes in the 2 sets of washers and dryers. I can’t tell you how amazing it was to come home with clean laundry! This would be so nice to have if we stayed there all week, we could have packed much, much lighter! I just loved this convenience factor.
The second suite was just as beautiful with a spacious living area, full kitchen, laundry facility, full bathroom, and large bedroom.
I really enjoyed how the aviation theme was carried out through the entire resort. The kitchen and dining area was fully stocked, perfect for traveling in Las Vegas with your family.
The bedroom offered another spectacular view of the Las Vegas Strip, large screen TV, and of course, a fluffy robe and slippers.
The full size bathroom was located down the hall, between the living area and bedroom. I can’t drive home enough how spacious the suites are, even the bathrooms are large. This makes traveling with kids remarkably better!
My kids’ favorite part was the large, indoor heated pool! We enjoyed quite a lot of time swimming and splashing. With the searing temperatures in Las Vegas, an indoor pool is more than appreciated, especially during the heat of the day. There is also a very large sundeck located next to the pool.
Besides the Las Vegas strip, there are so many exciting destinations that are just a short drive from the hotel including Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. It was astounding how low the water levels at Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam is compared to just 10 years ago. Bluegreen Vacations Club 36 is also conveniently located near the airport – saving a lot of time getting to and from the airport. There are many other amenities that are appreciated too like free wifi, free parking, and a fitness center.
If you are searching for an upscale hotel for families near Las Vegas strip and Hoover Dam, check out Bluegreen Vacations Club 36. I promise that you’ll be more than satisfied and won’t want to leave! Rates start at just $99 per night on the Bluegreen Vacations Club 36 website.
