The Historic Roscoe Village in Coshocton, Ohio is a hidden gem! It is such a fun place to go whether you are traveling with your family or on a girl’s trip like I was!
My sisters-in-law and I enjoyed our time in Roscoe Village. The shops are so cute and unique and the dining is wonderful!
The Warehouse Steak N’ Stein
This is a sponsored post.
While you are shopping in Roscoe Village, you are going to get hungry and I highly recommend stopping at The Warehouse Steak N’ Stein!
This restaurant has a very unique story. It used to be a warehouse that backed up to the canal & people would stop to get supplies on their way down the canal. It was location “Lock 27” on the canal which is now the name of the bar located on the lower level. Fun fact: this canal does connect to Lock 3 in Akron, Ohio!
There is an excellent patio area! On the patio is their new pizza oven!
They also have a banquet room that seats 100. This is where you can host an event or attend the comedy club that they host on certain nights!
It is beautiful inside and everyone is very kind! The food is EXCELLENT! The potato skins have pulled pork inside and are almost a meal on their own! The cream cheese has a sriracha sauce in it which makes it unique and delicious!
You HAVE to try their onion rings. They are a family recipe from the owner, John Larson’s family and the recipe dates back to 1952. I am someone that would not usually order onion rings but I could not get enough of these! They tasted better than any onion rings I have ever had! The dipping sauce is amazing as well. They make as many sauces in-house as they can! Promise me that you will plan to eat here while you are in Coshocton! You will be glad you did!
The Coshocton Supply Co
One of your firsts stops in Roscoe Village should be to the Coshocton Supply Co because it has all of the visitor information! Be sure to pick up the pamphlets and brochures from there so that you are aware of everything that Coshocton has to offer!
Mindy is the director and she is so very kind and helpful. If you need recommendations for your stay in Coshocton, stop in (or contact her ahead of time) and she will help you!
The Coshocton Supply Co is also a gift shop where you can find all kinds of handmade and local items!
Lots of Shopping In Roscoe Village
As I mentioned, the shops are so cute and unique! Abigail Birch and Company is a beautiful clothing store that has clothing that you likely won’t find many other places. The best part is that the prices are still great! My sister-in-law, Lindsay, bought a beautiful romper that you could dress-up or down there for less than $30!
Medbery Marketplace is a deli, local foods store, and cafe. It was fun to browse around at all the different food options they had. We couldn’t resist the flavored syrups!
I always love going into candy stores that have candy from my childhood. So fun! We went in Roscoe Village Sweets & Treats and loaded up on all kinds of candy that you can’t easily find anywhere else!
You have to stop into The Roscoe Village General Store to see all the things they have and sample their famous homemade fudge! Delicious!!
There are many other stores and other restaurants in Roscoe Village and they are all worth checking out!
