Fort aMAZE’n

This time around, we started off with Fort aMAZE’n! I went with Elijah and my husband went with my daughter. This was the first year that our goal was to get down in the 5 minute challenge – or at least before the other team.

We thought we were doing really well, finding all the letters. We were running too, working up a sweat! My husband and daughter had a strategy this time. All htey did was turn left the entire time until they found the letters. It was the weirdest trick. And unfair if you ask Elijah and I! They were done several minutes before us!! We were not pleased with that and WILL win next time! ha!

Seriously, it is a lot of fun for kids, teens, and adults of all ages. You’ve gotta try Fort aMAZE’n!

The Rock Wall

The Rock Wall is so much fun too! My kids love it!! There are several options of difficulty so it is good for beginners and children as well as athletic adults. For beginners, there are 2 easy levels on the rock wall and the rounded tree trunk structure. Believe me though, it isn’t easy – easy and takes skill!

It is a lot of fun and not as intimidating as when you go to a rock climbing facility off the island. I highly recommend it.

The Butterfly House at Put-in-Bay

The Butterfly House at Put-in-Bay is always our #1 favorite thing to do, we spend so much time in there and even go back a second time after other activities. Your pass allows you to visit as long and often as you want during the day.

There were hundreds, actually over a thousand butterflies while we visited. There were butterflies flying all over in magnificent colors. During this visit, my son was the favorite of the butterflies! They kept landing on him the entire day – must have been the tie-dye shirt! We all had a great time, it’s so relaxing and thrilling at the same time.
