So you’re a mommy blogger, and you don’t have Photoshop- ugh! That’s not good! I have to admit that I am a novice at Photoshop, but we’ve got an expert in the family who sits next to me, so, not so bad. Anyway, if you aren’t able to resize images, change their colors, add overlays, etc, you are missing out. If you’re a blogger, you owe it to yourself to at least know the basics.

http://pixlr.com is an online flash based tool that has the same look and feel as Photoshop, and lets you do a lot of basic (and some advanced) image editing inside your browser. Common Adjustments that I do all day long include image resizing, blur filters, special selections, cropping, rotations, and added layers- all easy to use within pixlr.
