Akron ZooCamp for ages 2-5
There are several ZooCamp options for young children ages 2-5 with accompaniment of a parent or gardian. These early childhood ZooCamps include an animal encounter, tour of the zoo, stories, snack, t-shirt, and free play.
Choose from the following themes for ages 2-5:

Akron ZooCamp for ages 5-15
Choose from a 1/2 day camp in either 3 or 5-day camps for kids ages 5-15. Check out my daughter’s experience at Akron ZooCamp when she was 6 years old.
I’m an overprotective mom and had absolutely no problem leaving her in the care of the Akron Zoo. There were always a teacher, assistant and 3-5 intern and volunteers with her group. She loved the animal encounters (about 3-5) every day!

My son has always loved animals and is considering being a vet when he grows up. He is super excited to attend the Zoo Vet half-day, 5 day camp this summer. This is his chance to see a real animal hospital and talk with the zoo vets to see how they treat sick or injured animals at the zoo. What an amazing hands-on learning opportunity for older kids ages 10-13.
Full Day Camps for 5 days for ages 6-13 with these themes:

Full Day, 5-Day Camps are available for kids ages 6-13. Full day camps start at 9:30am and end at 4:30pm. This is an excellent option for working parents looking for a full-day summer camp for their children. For your convenience, Akron ZooCamp offers additional add-on services for camps too including Meal Deals ($25 per child per week), Before Care (8-9:30am), and After Care (4:30-5:30pm).
