Bundle up our family to experience the Akron Zoo in a new way this Winter with Creature Feature Saturdays all February! The Akron Zoo is like a whole new zoo in the Winter with many animals like the snow leopard above more active and energetic than ever in the cold and snow. It is worth braving the elements.
Now, the Akron Zoo is adding even more excitement with Creature Feature Saturdays! Each Saturday, you can get an up-close experience with a different animal group each week. 
Creature Feature Saturdays
Feb 1 – Bugs
Feb 8 – Reptiles
Feb 15 – Birds
Feb 22 – Mammals
There is no additional charge for Akron Zoo Creature Feature Saturdays that happen from 12 – 2pm in the Komodo Kingdom Education Center. There is nothing like getting an up close look at your favorite animals, it is just as much for for adults as kids!
The Akron Zoo is open 361 days a year. Winter zoo hours are 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Winter admission is $7. Children under two are free. Parking is $2.00. For more information visit or call (330) 375-2550.
