The Akron Zoo has been transformed into a fun, spooky destination for their annual Boo at the Zoo. This is a safe, family-friendly, non-scary event for every age. The zoo will be lit up with theme lights and other non-scary decorations. Dress up your kids in their favorite costumes for trick-or-treating at the Akron Zoo. Treat bags will be provided and must be used when going to the 12 themed trick-or-treating stations (2 more than last year!).
If you are reluctant to send your kids out into the neighborhoods for Trick or Treating in Akron or if you just don’t live in a neighborhood, the Akron Zoo’s Boo at the Zoo is the perfect option. This is a safe place in Akron for kids to trick or treat, plus they get to see 700 WILD animals!
Be sure to bring $2 for the carousel and train ride for your kids too. The carousel has been a big hit in our family since it opened late this summer. It is a vibrant carousel that you won’t want to miss. The zoo shop is also stocked up with fun lighting up toys, stop in before you trick or treat so your kids can enjoy them while trick or treating.
New this year is an All-you-can-eat pizza buffet with a full spread of handmade pizza, salad, dessert pizza, and drinks. Kids 10 & under $4.99 and adults $6.99 each.

This was not a paid post. My own opinions were used based on my perceptions. Thank you to Akron Zoo for their on-going relationship with AkronOhioMoms.com.
