Join AkronOhioMoms for a personal Animal Encounter at the Akron Zoo Playdate on May 17th at 1pm. We will meet at the Komodo Dragon exhibit at 1pm. AkronOhioMoms and their kids will have an up-close and personal animal encounter with an Akron Zoo Education Specialist.  Then, we’ll head on over to the Train for a FREE Train Ride! There is also a fun playground right next to the train ride for kids to enjoy.  Come early or stay late to visit all of the animals.  My kids and I will enjoy some yummy food at the cafe at noon, join us if you’d like! Don’t forget to stop by the Capybara Exhibit to sneak a peak at the 2 baby capybaras!

Details on the Animal Encounter at the Akron Zoo Playdate

Who is invited: Everyone! Not just moms but dads too, and grandmas & grandpas, and nannies, and babysitters, and YOU!

When: May 17th 1pm Meet at the Komodo Dragon exhibit at 1pm, we will go to the Animal Encounter together, and train ride immediately after.

We’d love to meet those interested in lunch beforehand at 12pm noon in the cafe!

Where: Meet in the cafe at noon if you want to have lunch together. Meet at the Komodo Dragon exhibit for the Animal Encounter, don’t worry we will not be playing with the Komodo Dragon! lol

Pricing: Just pay regular admission, the Animal Encounter and Train Ride are Free!
Adults  $10.00
Senior Citizens (Grandmas are welcome!) $7.50
Children (ages 2-14)  $6.00

We LOVE our Akron Zoo Membership! For just $68, 2 adults and all your kids get in free to zoos across the nation! We use our Akron Zoo Membership locally about 1-2 times monthly at either the Akron or the Cleveland Zoo – including winter months! When we go on vacation, we never forget our membership card and always go to a least one zoo while on vacation for FREE! It’s just a great add on to any vacation for a free day plus it is a lot of fun to tour different zoos across the country. Of all the zoos that we’ve been too, we’ve never been as close to the animals than at the Akron Zoo!

Parking $2 or FREE if you bring in any non-winning Ohio Lottery ticket.
