English Classes can be a critical link for those new to our country to integrate into the community at large. Often times individuals can be stuck at home, or work at a family business with no real understanding of what is going on outside – with the rest of us.
The good people (I know I used to attend there for 12 years!) at CrossPoint Church in Fairlawn, Ohio are offering English as a Second Language Classes to the public. The class is free but there is a charge for a book ($30, good for 2 semesters/one year of classes)
They are offering two classes – one evening and one morning – with childcare available at the morning class. Classes begin this month starting on January 23, 2014!
Please do pass this on to those in your circles that, well, barely speak English! It might be the woman at the nail salon, someone taking care of a neighbor’s home, or a wife stuck in her house since her husband’s job relocated her here- in this foreign country! Details on dates, and times, as well as Online registeration can be found at the link below.
