Hudson Blues Brews & BBQ Festival is this Saturday, June 18th from 11 a.m. until 9:00 p.m and on Sunday June 19th from noon until 6:00 p.m. for the 2nd annual Hudson Blues, Brews & BBQ Festival at the First and Main Shopping District. Guests can purchase samples of delicious finger-licking ribs, chicken and more from area restaurants and caterers as they compete for the “People’s Choice Award” for best BBQ.
Enjoy the vibe with performances from local blues bands on the Library Green and visit area vendors who will be showcasing their products and services.
Stop by early on Saturday to check out the Backyard BBQ competition as local Hudson teams will compete for the best BBQ chicken as selected by celebrity judges. Competition will get under way at 10:00 a.m.
Event Proceeds benefit the Hudson Athletic Booster Club.

Akron Zoo 50% Off Admission for Dads and Grandpas
All dad’s and grandpa’s will receive 50% off admission to the Akron Zoo on Father’s Day, June 19th. Father’s Day Events will take place from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Try your luck at corn hole or putt on the putting green at the Zoo. Walt Wise will provide live entertainment.
