The Haunted Schoolhouse and Haunted Laboratory in Akron, Ohio offers two haunted house experiences with a total of 7 floors of terror.
The Haunted Schoolhouse is a tour through a 3-story schoolhouse that has been overrun with witches, giants, dragons, and gargoyles. You can even visit Dr. Frankenstein’s Laboratory and the evil king’s dungeon of terror. The Haunted Laboratory offers 4 stories of fear with a vertical wind tunnel, spinning black holes, lasers, and more.
Parking is free with an indoor sitting area for parents waiting on their kids to tour.
Tickets are $17 for one or $26 for both haunted houses. Just $13 on Thursdays and Sundays. See website for more deals.

Carnival of Horrors in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio
In the Carnival of Horrors, work your way through the maze of the Insane Asylum, see if you can make it out without going crazy yourself.

Hudson Haunted House in Hudson, Ohio
The Hudson Haunted House taunts do you, “Dare to be scared?”
This ‘old-school’ haunted house claims to be the “Monster of all Haunted Houses” with room after room, hallways and mazes of frightfulness with less ‘blood and gore’ than others. There is even a Trick or Treat with Friendly monsters and lights on for little ones on October 23 from 1-4pm. $3 each, adults free with child.
Tickets are $10 per person with a $1 admission special from 11pm – 12am on Friday and Saturday nights. $5 for 48″ and under and for military. Check their website for additional discounts.

Heck Haunted House for Kids in Massillon, Ohio
Heck Haunted House in Massillon, Ohio gives kids a taste of the fun of haunted houses without the gore.
The house is of the theme of the 2006 movie, Monster House with a new feature this year that reflects the movie, Nightmare before Christmas with an electric forest walk through. Kids will also be able to trick-or-treat while there.
This haunted house is for kids ages 13 and under, and their parents. Cost is just $2 plus 2 non-perishable items that will be donated to SAM center for VETS and The Stark County Hunger Task Force.
