There are many races to benefit the less fortunate, not many are like the Kick Up Your Heels for Homelessness Race to benefit Access Homeless Shelter in Akron, Ohio. The Fed Ex Custom Critical Kick Up Your Heels race offers three tracks: 5K Run, 1M Walk and Stiletto Sprint. This unique race will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012, which is Mother’s Day weekend. It starts and finishes at Lock 3 Park in downtown Akron.
Kick Up Your Heels Race Registration:
You can register to run the race through the Access website.
Stiletto Sprint—Free, but must register.
5K Run—$25 pre-registered, $30 race day.
1M Walk—$20 pre-registered, $25 race day.
The first 250 registered receive a free t-shirt and other assorted items!
Kick Up Your Heels Race Schedule:
7:00am—5K Run, 1M Walk and Stiletto Sprint registration
8:00am—Stiletto Sprint
9:00am—Kick up Your Heels 5K
9:10am—1M Walk
