The Nationally Acclaimed “Live Mermaid” Kicks Off the New Swimming/ Water Awareness Program at Kalahari Resort in Sandusky, Ohio on Thursday, July 15, 2010. Some people have swam with dolphins, now you have the chance to swim with a live mermaid!
Mermaid Linden Wolbert will be at Kalahari to help remind kids and parents about swim safety. Mermaid Linden Wolbert will use the indoor waterpark to promote its free Swimming/Water Awareness Program. Mermaid Lenden was recently featured on ABC’s 20/20 “SuperHumans” special. She will swim in the wave pool and lazy river at Kalahari with her awe-inspiring 35-lb. engineered mermaid tail and demonstrate her amazing ability to breathe under water for nearly five minutes!

Kalahari Resort Swimming Water Awareness Program
Kalahari Resort now offers a complimentary course daily for kids ages 3-12. Their Swimming/Water Awareness Program reminds families of key safety tips as they enjoy a day of fun in the resort’s waterparks. The complimentary course is run by certified lifeguards and is offered daily:
1:00 – 1:40 p.m.: ages 3-5
2:00 – 2:40 p.m.: ages 6-8
3:00 – 3:40 p.m.: ages 9-12
