Hudson’s most beloved summer tradition is back for its 77th season, and this year’s Hudson Home & Garden Tour promises two full days of inspiration, history, and small-town charm. On Friday, June 13 (10 a.m.–7 p.m.) and Saturday, June 14 (10 a.m.–4 p.m.), ticket-holders can step inside beautifully restored homes, wander through private gardens in peak bloom, and pick up fresh ideas for outdoor living spaces—all at their own pace.
What Makes the Tour Special
Since 1947, members of the Hudson Garden Club have opened doors and garden gates so visitors can see how thoughtful design transforms everyday spaces. Volunteer docents share each property’s backstory, from architectural details to clever plant pairings, so you leave with practical take-aways—whether you’re planning a patio upgrade or just day-dreaming.

Proceeds stay local, funding scholarships, city tree plantings, library books, and community beautification projects that keep Hudson looking postcard-perfect year-round.

More Than House-Hopping
Your ticket also unlocks a complimentary Tea Room where the Secret Tea Society pours iced blends alongside homemade cookies (1–4 p.m. both days). Be sure to swing through the Garden Shop at East Woods School for perennial starts, gently loved garden tools, décor finds, and the always-popular “New-to-You” boutique. The shop is open to the public—no ticket required—so invite friends who can’t make the full tour to meet you there.

Tickets and Pick-Up
Presale Tour Tickets: $35 (plus small online fee) through Wednesday, June 11.
Day-of Tickets: $45 at the East Woods School ticket tent (120 N. Hayden Pkwy).

Family-Friendly Planning Tips
Stagger your start. Arrive right at 10 a.m. to enjoy cooler temps and lighter crowds, or start mid-afternoon and linger into the early-evening hours Friday.
Bring walking shoes. You’ll drive between properties, but many gardens have stone paths or gentle slopes.
Pack for Ohio weather. A tote with sunscreen and a small umbrella keeps surprises from ruining the fun.
Plan a Main Street lunch. Hudson’s downtown restaurants sit minutes from most stops; make a reservation if you’re touring midday.
Why It’s Worth the Ticket
Whether you crave fresh landscaping ideas, love a good historical back-story, or simply enjoy a slow stroll with iced tea in hand, the Hudson Home & Garden Tour delivers a full sensory escape without leaving Summit County. Ticket sales power year-round projects that benefit local schools and public spaces, so every porch vignette you admire or hosta variety you jot down also helps plant more trees, fund scholarships, and enrich community programs.
Ready to go? Secure your tickets today at HudsonHomeAndGardenTour.org and mark June 13–14 on the family calendar. I’ll be the one snapping photos of window boxes—and tasting every flavor in the Tea Room—so be sure to say hello!
