Stan Hywet’s annual Ohio Mart craft fair is finally here! Running October 7-10, 2021, you won’t want to miss the 120 artisans on display on the historic gardens in autumn splendor! This is a must-visit attraction starting today, Thursday, October 7th and running through Sunday!

This year’s Ohio Mart will feature 120 artists, working in a variety of media including photography, ceramic, jewelry, wearable art, and gourmet food. (Speaking of food, this is your first chance of the season to enjoy Stan Hywet’s famous HOT gingerbread too!)  I love Ohio Mart because it gives me the chance to support LOCAL artsans and get a jump-start on Christmas shopping!

In addition to artisans, Vintage Finds and Curious Goods sells the unusual and the collectible, and Molly’s Boutique is back with a selection of exquisite fine fashion. The Craft Shop features handmade items, and the Garden Committee sells beautiful dried flower arrangements, created from flowers grown in Stan Hywet’s Great Garden.
Plan to visit during lunch! Ohio Mart features a variety of delicious lunchtime fare from area food vendors and bakeries, as well as hot gingerbread (an Ohio Mart tradition) and wine and craft beer in the Tudor Rose Pub.
Ohio Mart also features the 47th Stitchery Showcase in the Manor House Reception Hall, produced by the Stan Hywet Needlework Guild. This non-juried needlework exhibit includes counted thread, canvas, surface stitchery, beading and hand quilting.
