I love everything about Easter Egg Hunts from the buying fun candy to stuffing the plastic eggs to hiding them (especially when my kids got older and we could really hide the eggs!) and watching kids find the eggs. I’ve always thought to myself, “Why don’t the grown-ups get to do this?” Just because we are adults doesn’t mean we can’t have fun. I love silly fun, don’t you? Well, the Akron Art Museum must have heard my wish, because they are hosting the ultimate Akron Adult Easter egg hunt!

Sip & Search: The Great Adult Egg Hunt
This isn’t just about finding chocolate (though there will be plenty of that!). This event is a true community gem that treats us like the busy, hardworking adults we are.
The Prizes: Some eggs contain tickets for bottles of wine or admission to their upcoming 80s-themed dance party, Circa Pop.
The “Golden Egg”: Hidden somewhere in the museum is one special egg containing a signed and numbered print by the legendary Mark Mothersbaugh. As someone who appreciates local talent, that is a massive win!
The Atmosphere: Your ticket includes a mimosa, beer, or mocktail, plus a delicious pastry and coffee. It’s the perfect excuse to dress up and have fun with your friends and significant other.
Practical Details for Your Visit
Ages: This is a 18+ event, so it’s the perfect “Me Time” or a fun date morning.
Dress Code: Spring attire is highly encouraged! It’s going to be so festive.
Price: Members pay $20 and Non-Members are $30. Honestly, for a drink, breakfast, and a chance at fine art, it’s a steal.
Insider Tip: Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 28th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Tickets are expected to sell out fast because the museum has limited availability for this hunt!
If you’ve been waiting for a “magical” spring moment that doesn’t involve cleaning up grass stains, this is it. I’m already scouting out a floral fascinator for the big day!
Plan your visit! Head over to AkronArtMuseum.org to secure your spot before the eggs—and the tickets—are all gone!
