Good Samaritan Hunger Center is hosting Soup for the City featuring the Roaring Twenties a Gatsby Soiree on November 2, 2019 – Save the Date!! This fundraiser helps the hunger center feed Akron’s hungry! This year’s theme is the Roaring 20’s and guests are encouraged to dress the part, in fact there will even be a costume contest.
VIP tickets are $75 and will include a ‘Speakeasy’ experience. General Admission is $50. VIP begins at 5 PM, with General Admission at 6 PM
Soup, Dessert and Coffee is served at 6:30. The evening includes a Silent Auction and a Live Auction that you won’t want to miss.
The Good Samaritan Hunger Center has been serving Akron for 37 years. They provide nutritious meals and grocery bags of food for several area neighborhoods. Everyone is welcome to every food distribution.
The Good Samaritan Hunger Center cannot help the hungry without support from restaurants, grocery stores, food vendors, commercial & home gardens, schools, churches, community groups, and generous donors like you. The Soup for the City event is the largest fundraiser every year for the hunger center.
