Under cover of cool cool April evenings, guests of Hale Farm & Village experience a journey as runaway slaves.
As runaways, you will be seeking refuge away from some Hale Farm actors, and towards the open arms of others.

Like other tour events at Hale Farm, this is an indoor/outdoor event- memorable and teachable -for everyone that attends. Hale Farm is one of my favorite places in the Akron Area. I encourage you to look into this if you can.
Tailored for adults, and children grade 4 and up, the realities of slavery, race relations, and abolitionism in Ohio are explored and displayed for all to see.
Tours depart every 20 minutes beginning at 5:40pm on April 1 & 8, 2017, and reservations are required.
Adult Tickets are $20, member prices are $15, and students cost $12.
