If you are a mom that enjoys the outdoors and have young kids, this may be the perfect, fun Mother’s Day outing . Jr. Family: Dirt Rocks at the Cuyahoga Valley National Park is on Saturday, May 11th 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM. Have fun making mud pies and search for forest floor creatures. This is a fun event as kids learn all about soil. If your child is 4-6 years old, this even qualifies for one program toward earning a special Jr. Ranger patch. Include a short hike.
