GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 is an action-packed epic space adventure with a colorful, dysfunctional group of characters that we all know and love. In this movie, the characters are developed more and we learn to love even those that were rivals at one point.
We were surprised by the events, twists, and tuns in the movie, laughing the entire way.
I was surprised at how funny the movie was this time around although it felt like they swore a lot more in the second movie and had more sexual innuendo that I’m not comfortable letting my kids watch – it is PG13 for a reason – violence, cursing, and sexual references.
Everyone LOVES Baby Groot. He is like a toddler and they treat him like it throughout the movie. He plays a huge role in the movie, as small and innocent as he is!
These goofballs had to be so fun to work with if the movie was any reflection of the fun they were having! Get a sneak peek of what they consider the “best prop in the movie” below.
We laughed through the whole movie! There are so many one-liners that we are repeating – my favorite was:
Star-Lord: “You look like Mary Poppins!”
Yondu: “Is HE cool?”
Star-Lord: “Yeah!”
This was a funny scene and also touching. I’ll tell you now, I heard plenty of laughter but also a little crying at one point….
