Now that we have celebrated Thanksgiving, it is time to get into the Christmas spirit! What better way to get into the holiday spirit than getting your picture taken with Santa himself!?!
I have written about the Humane Society of Greater Akron before and all the AMAZING things PAWSibilities does for the abused and neglected animals in our county so I want to let you know about their event coming up “Photos with Santa” on Saturday, December 3 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
This is not your average mall photo with Santa opportunity–this is a fun way to capture your child’s and your pets Christmas spirit while helping a wonderful cause. If you have never been out the HSGA facility this is a perfect time to see all the wonderful things that are going on in the facility and meet some cute dogs/cats…maybe even find a new furry family member too!? 🙂
Photos with Santa in Akron, Ohio
Bring the kids/grandkids and your furry family members to the Humane Society to get your Holiday photos done! There will be a jolly Santa ready and an adorable Christmas display ready to take your keepsake photos. Photography will be done by the talented local photographer Tori Tedesco. There is just a $10.00 sitting fee and you will be provided with a link to Tori’s gallery online after the event to order any size prints, canvas wraps or have the photo placed on several types of merchandise. You can also purchase and download the digital file for your personal use.
All proceeds (sitting fees and photos purchased) will benefit Pawsibilities, the Humane Society of Greater Akron.
There will also be some vendors selling pet related items such as dog fleece jackets, handmade toys, yummy treats and cute doggie scarves/hats. Get your holiday shopping for your 4-legged friends done early! I know my two pups are going to be excited to get some yummy treats in their stocking this year! 🙂
Legendary Guitarist Neil Zaza will also be at the event!
Neil Zaza the legendary guitarist will be stopping by the shelter to say hello, to sign autographs, take pictures and answers questions about his music and career. Anyone who makes a donation of $25 or more to PAWSilbilities on December 3rd, will receive a FREE Neil Zaza CD. Great stocking stuffer!! This year marks the 10th anniversary of Neil’s holiday spectacular Christmas show “One Silent Night” and Neil is offering friends and supporters of PAWSIBILITIES a special discount rate for tickets to his Holiday show Saturday, December 17 at the Hanna Theater in Cleveland.
