If you are like me, you are a mom who cherishes quality time with your children, especially on Mother’s Day. I specifically like to schedule family activities for Mother’s Day weekend. This year, one of those fun activities will be Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey’s presentation of DRAGONS in Columbus! I was excited to receive tickets for our family to promote the event and share our experience after the show. Believe it or not, I have never been to the circus. It will be a first time for my children and myself!
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey will present DRAGONS May 8-12 in the Value City Arena at the Jerome Schottenstein Center. The show is based on the Chinese Year of the Dragon and is sure delight the young and young at heart with dazzling costumes, daring maneuvers and impressive athleticism.
DRAGONS includes all of the circus favorites, including flying acts, dancers, animals and more. The show features some of the best talent from around the world, sure to leave the audience in awe. I can’t wait to see if Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s circus really is “The Greatest Show on Earth!”

An All-Access Preshow will take place an hour before DRAGONS and is available to all ticket holders. Children, and their parents, will have the opportunity to interact with circus performers; have an encounter with an Asian elephant; and obtain a juggling lesson, among other activities.
Those who buy at least two full-priced tickets to Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s DRAGONS for either performance on Mother’s Day, May 12, will get a free ticket just for mom!
