Santa Claus rounds out our annual WELCOME SANTA parade held yearly in downtown Akron. In its 31st year, this parade sets the mood for post turkey, pre-Christmas flare with your favorite Akronites in tow.
Akron’s Annual Santa Holiday Parade takes place on 11/25/2017. The parade starts at 11am.
Every year over 75 different parade units make their way down Main Street, including marching bands, floats, costumed characters dance groups and a plethora of area organizations (let’s just be thankful that the parade is AFTER voting day, so a few less council people and judges! carrying Vote for Me Signs!)
If you start thinking now, you can even be in the parade!
Fall into one of these below categories (hmm, blogger IS not listed… ugh) and you can be considered to walk/ride/drive the route!
Download and print the actual parade Application PDF here. The simple application must be submitted and received by November 1st.
