What is CVSR The Polar Express?
It is THE Christmastime event in the Akron, Ohio/NE Ohio area for kids and families for 16 years! It is based on Chris Van Alsburg’s Caldecott-winning book and Warner Bros. motion picture, The Polar Express. In this book/movie, Billy, a young boy that is a bit unsure if he still believe in Christmas takes a trip on the Polar Express train to the North Pole with other kids. This was the defining moment in his life where he decided that he does still believe in Christmas.
